- About This Team
- This Safer Neighbourhood area covers Eckington, Marsh Lane and Killamarsh. It belongs to the North East Derbyshire policing section. Eckington is a town that grew mainly as a result of the now greatly diminished mining industry, with a population in excess of 11 thousand people. The town has several active residents groups and parish council, with a range of schools from infant to a sixth form college.
