- This Safer Neighbourhood area covers Borrowash and Ockbrook. It belongs to the Long Eaton policing section. The villages of Ockbrook and Borrowash are located within the Erewash Borough Council area, in the south-east corner of Derbyshire, close to the cities of Nottingham and Derby. Both areas are set within rural locations, particularly the village of Ockbrook. Borrowash is the larger of the two villages and is serviced by a small shopping area off the main Nottingham / Derby Road.
