- This Safer Neighbourhood area covers Wirksworth and Middleton. It belongs to the B South policing section. Wirksworth is a small market town located five miles to the South West of Matlock. The neighbourhood also comprises Middleton, Bolehill and Longway Bank. The annual well dressing and carnival as well as the arts festival attract visitors from across the region.
