About This Team

This Safer Neighbourhood area covers Barrow Hill and Whittington. It belongs to the Chesterfield policing section.   Barrow Hill is a small semi-rural residential area located within Chesterfield Borough Council and situated approximately four miles from Chesterfield Town Centre. Whittington is split into two villages - Old and New. There is a large recreational area separating both Old and New Whittington that includes a skate park and five-aside football pitch. Old Whittington contains several buildings of historical interest.
