- About This Team
- This Safer Neighbourhood area covers Belper Town. It belongs to the Amber Valley policing section. Belper is a small, attractive market town within the Amber Valley Borough Council area and is situated 8 miles north of Derby. The River Derwent and A6 trunk road run along the western edge of the town. The railway makes an interesting feature in the town centre as its bridges were built by George Stevenson.
