- There are three infant schools and a pre school in the area, and also a secondary school. Along the high street of Oldland there are a number of local stores, a post office, hair salon and food outlets as well as the local dentist and medical centre. There is also access from here to the local Bitton road runners club and Oldland football ground. In North Common there is a medical centre as well as the local village hall which runs a number of activities and groups for all. In West Street you will find the local club, the butchers and a dog grooming centre, while in Westbourne Drive you will find a convenience store, a hair salon and a hardware store. There are also four licensed premises which can be found on North Street, West Street and Bath Road.
