- About This Team
- Selston boasts a large and thriving village that is serviced by Selston Church of England School, Holly Hill School and the secondary school of Selston Arts and Community College. It is made up of mostly professional residents who commute to work around the County. The Police Contact Point is located next to the Arts and Community College and is where the beat team are based. Base 16 Youth Services are situated in the Leisure Centre next to the Contact point. In terms of shopping Somerfields on Nottingham Road is the most prominant outlet. There are parklands off Annesley Lane, Nottingham Road, Alfreton Road and to the rear of Victoria Road otherwise known as 'the Hills'.
