- Kirkby West has 2850 households. The area is boundared by Victoria Road, Greenwood Drive, Lawrence Avenue and the A38 and to the east by the Robinhood Railway line. There are two primary schools within the area and Ashfield Comprehensive school. The area has a small park known as the West Park which has been designed by the local community and young people.
