About This Team: Awsworth is a small village with a few businesses on Lawrence Avenue. The residents of Awsworth have a parish hall situated on The Lane. Within the village there is a recreation park at the rear of parish hall. There is a junior school and a nursery on The Lane; this is the main road through the village. There are two public houses in Awsworth, The Crown Inn and The Gate Inn. Awsworth has one major road, which leads to the A610 and to the M1 north and south bound. Awsworth borders Giltbrook at Gin Close Way, and Cossall at the junction of Newton's Lane and Awsworth Lane, Cossall. Cossall is a rural village with a small population. There is a small village hall and a business park off Soloman Road, Cossall. The main road leads on to Shilo Way, which in turn leads to the A610 and onto the M1 north and south bound. Cossall borders Trowell on Cossall Road, Awsworth at the junction of Newton's Lane and Awsworth Lane Cossall, and with Ilkeston on Newton's Lane and the A6096 traffic island at the end of Coronation Road. There is one public house in Cossall called The Gardeners.
