- About This Team
- EASTWOOD NORTH Eastwood North sits between Eastwood South, Langley Mill and Heanor. Many of the boundary lines of Eastwood North run through rural areas and are therefore not easy to define. However, main road boundaries of the area include the A610, the A608 Mansfield Road, the B600 Willey Lane, Moorgreen, Mill Road and Princes Street. The B600 links Eastwood North to Watnall and Selston. Nottingham Road is the main artery road through Eastwood which comprises of mainly retail shops, offices, banks, building societies, supermarkets, public houses, Post Office, library, restaurants and takeaways. BRINSLEY Brinsley is a small village which borders Langley Mill, Eastwood North and Greasley (Beauvale). Again, most of Brinsley's boundary lines run through rural areas and are difficult to define. However, its boundaries run from the A608 Mansfield Road near Cocker House Farm through open land past the Brinsley Headstocks Wildlife and Heritage Site, up to Cordy Lane near the Yew Tree Public House. It then turns northwest towards borders with Westwood and Jacksdale before returning south through open countryside past Brinsley Hall. The B600 links Brinsley to Watnall and Selston and also provides good transport links to Junction 27 of the M1 motorway. Brinsley has one main road, the A608, which runs from the B600 through the centre of Brinsley and on towards Eastwood.
