- The village of Ruddington is situated south of West Bridgford. The population is 6500. The centre of the village is based around the High Street and Church Street, which contain a variety of shops, banks, and food outlets. There are also seven public houses. On the outskirts of the village are Ruddington Rushcliffe Country Park and the Nottingham Heritage Transport Centre. The village contains two primary schools but no secondary school. Older children mostly attend the two West Bridgford Comprehensives.
