- The Melton and Musters beat boarders the town centre. The area mainly consists of housing, which is bordered by Loughborough Rd, Boundary Road and Stamford Road. The population is 4,000. It also has a lot of properties, which have been converted into flats and bedsits, which house mainly University students. The beat also contains a primary school and Rushcliffe Comprehensive school, which are also a leisure facility and a National Gymnastics Centre.
