- Carlton Hill ward area is triangular in shape and bordered by the B686 Carlton Hill, Porchester Road and Foxhill Road sandwiched in between Carlton Hill and the City Division. The area comprises of a small but busy shopping area which includes an off licence, restaurants and take away premises on Carlton Hill. Within the area are two primary schools, OAP flats, 2 churches varying in religion, and public houses.
