- About This Team
- Ravenshead is located on the main Mansfield to Nottingham road, the A60, that passes Ravenshead at Newstead Abbey Park main entrance at the junction with Longdale Lane and The Hutt Public House. The surrounding borders of Ravenshead are mainly open fields, farms and forest, linked with Blidworth Waye, Rigg Lane, Ricket Lane, Calverton Rd and Kirkby Road. There is a small shopping precinct, which contains various shops, takeaway and a library with attached Police Contact Point. There are two primary schools, a leisure centre, village hall, doctor's surgery and the Church of Saint Peters on Sheepwalk Lane.
