- Arnold Town Centre Arnold Town Centre is the main retail and leisure area for the Gedling North area of the Borough. The area extends from Sainsburys on Nottingham Road to Cross Street and then Front Street to where it meets Nottingham Road at Wilkinsons. There is a wide selection of shops; both small independent retailers and national chains including supermarkets and chemists. There is a popular open-air market on Fridays and Saturdays that also houses evening jumble and antique sales events. All your food and drink requirements are catered for around the town centre. There is a health centre offering a great range of services, a public library with internet access, a sports centre with public swimming pools and the Bonington Theatre offering drama and films. Arnold Town Centre serves not only its large surrounding area but its charm and diversity attract shoppers from all over the city and outlying villages.
