- About This Team
- Trowell area is of mainly residential housing with open green areas such as Pit Lane, which is a nature reserve with both open grass area and some woodland. There are also some play areas for small children. There are few shops, a couple of local public houses and garden centre and some small business premises. There are major roads running through and around Trowell the main one being the M1motorway. The boundaries of Trowell include Coventry Lane onto Nottingham Road, through to Ilkeston Road to junction of Stapleford Road, leading back to a mini island on Pasture Road.
