- About This Team
- The local beat team based at Beeston Police Station covers the area of Beeston North. This team comprises: 1 Police Officer and 1 Police Community Support Officer with the support of Special Constables. Beeston North area is a residential area made up of the Bramcote Hills estate and Beeston Fields estate. There are parks in both estates with children's playing facilities, football pitches and a bowling green. Beeston North beat is surrounded by Beeston town centre, Wollaton and Lenton Abbey. Roads that border Beeston North are Wollaton Road, Derby Road, Woodside Road and Broadgate. There are a number of main roads running through the beat area. The main road is the A52 Derby Road which is a three-lane carriageway running from Nottingham towards Stapleford and Wollaton Road running between Beeston and Bramcote. There are numerous schools within the beat area and include Beeston Fields Junior school and Bramcote Hills comprehensive school. There is a community centre on Boundary Road Beeston that organises and runs a number of activities that cater for all age ranges, including Youths clubs, friendship group and dog obedience classes. We have a youth motivator bus run by Broxtowe council every Thursday on Beeston Fields Park.
