- Stapleford North has four main roads running through the area which act as boundary lines: they are Ilkeston Road, Hickings Lane, Pasture Road junction and Church Street which run from the centre of Stapleford towards Trowell and Bramcote. The area has both private and council housing. There are very few shopping facilities within the immediate area although local amenities are catered for including newsagents, take away food stores and public houses. There are three schools located off major arterial roads within the area. There are fields opposite Ilkeston Road, which facilitates a playing area for young children.
