- About This Team
- Eastwood South borders with Langley Mill and Heanor in Amber Valley Derbyshire. To the west is the A610 dual carriageway, forming a border. To the North lies the Eastwood North and Greasley wards. To the East lies Newthorpe and Giltbrook. Main roads in the area are the A610 to the East, which bypasses Eastwood Town, and the A608 that runs from Langley Mill over the A610 into Eastwood and exits via Eastwood North, to Brinsley. Nottingham Road is the main road through Eastwood, which comprises mainly of retail shops, offices, banks, supermarkets, public houses, Post Office, library, restaurants and takeaways.
