- About This Team
- The Bakersfield Beat is a mainly residential area bordered by Carlton Road to the North and Daleside Road to the South. It includes the Upper part of Sneinton Dale above Dale Farm Avenue and the majority of Bakersfield terminating on Oakdale Road at its junction with Dovedale Road. Within the area is a mixture of privately owned and social housing with the Jesse Boot Primary School near its centre. The area also includes the Colwick Woods Nature Reserve, which is a large area of grassland and woodland of which part is a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The main issues in the area relate to anti social behaviour in the evening period and the use of off-road motorcycles in the Colwick Woods Nature Reserve
