About This Team: The Clifton Green Lane Beat is a vibrant and diverse area on the outer limits of Nottingham City It has a varied range of policing issues from the high profile policing of areas such as Nobel Rd and Whitegate Vale areas to the community support and crime reassurance issues of Barton Green and Clifton Village . There are approximately 3337 dwelling houses, which are split into a ratio of 70% private dwelling and 30% City homes properties. The area has a large and varied selection of retail outlets including large Supermarket retailers as well as a large street market on Southchurch Drive every Friday which is well worth a visit if you are in the area. There are several residents and tenants groups in the area, which work closely together and with other agencies to improve our community. The groups are well established but new faces and ideas are always welcome, contact your Safer Neighbourhood Team for advice, details of future events and meetings .
