- Area Boundaries The boundaries to the north of the area are the canal bridges on Carrington Street and Wilford Street. The canal acts as a natural boundary as it runs east, parallel with Station Street, and under London Road. The area south of Station Street comes under the County Beat. Going west, the boundary line travels parallel with the canal. At the Wilford Street bridge, the boundary line goes south until it reaches its junction with Waterway Street. The boundary line then travels east until it reaches Sheriff's Way. At this junction, the line goes north until it reaches Carrington Street. The area to the south of the canal, east of Wilford Street and north of Waterway Street is covered by the County Beat. Once on the east side of London Road, the boundary line goes north up London Road towards the Canal Street Island. The area on both sides of London Road, going north to Canal Street Island, is covered by the County Beat. At the island, the boundary line turns right (going east) down Poplar Street and then on to Evelyn Street until it reaches its junction with Manvers Street. The area south of Manvers/Evelyn Street is covered by the County Beat. Once at Manvers Street, the boundary line travels southeast along Manvers Street until it reaches the Daleside Road/Meadow Lane traffic island. The area to the south west of Manvers Street is covered by the County Beat. At the traffic island, the boundary line turns right and goes in a southwesterly direction along Meadow Lane. The area to the north west of Meadow Lane is covered by the County Beat. Beyond the junction of Meadow Lane and Lady Bay Bridge, the area to the south east of Meadow Lane is covered by the County Beat. The River Trent is the natural boundary to the southeast. At the junction Meadow Lane/London Road, the boundary line continues straight across London Road onto Bathley Street. At the eastern end of Bathley Street, the boundary line goes north up Meadows Way. The area to the east of Meadows Way is covered by the County Beat. At the junction of Meadows Way and Arkwright Street, the boundary line goes north until it joins Carrington Street. The area to the east of Arkwright Street/Carrington Street is covered by the County Beat. From the eastern end of Bathley Street, the boundary line travels in a westerly direction along Bathley Street until it reaches Victoria Embankment. The area to the south of Bathley Street is covered by the County Beat. The River Trent/Victoria Embankment is the natural boundary to the south of the area.
