- About This Team
- The Park beat covers three main areas:-The Park Estate; -Derby Road from Barrack lane to North Circus Street, along Oxford Street to the Ropewalk and back along Derby Road and -Castle Boulevard from Wilford Street to Castle Bridge Road. The beat has a population of around five thousand. The Park Estate is a private residential area. There are a number of residents living in luxury apartment complexes on Derby Road, Upper College Street, College Street, Regent Street, Oxford Street, the Ropewalk and on Castle Boulevard. Numerous shops and private business premises can be found on Derby Road, Regent Street, Oxford Street, College Street, the Ropewalk and Castle Boulevard. Educational establishments include the St Joseph's infant school on Derby Road and the Nottingham Arts College on College Street. There is a Roman Catholic Cathedral and a number of licensed pub/bars, restaurants and shops. The Castle Quay Probation Office is located on Castle Boulevard.
