- About This Team
- The Queens Medical Centre beat is located in the Lenton area of Nottingham and covers both the QMC Hospital campus and the recently opened Nottingham Treatment Centre (NTC), with the main entrance being off Derby Road (A52). There are additional entrances from Leengate and also the Ring Road. The QMC has one of the busiest Emergency Departments in Europe. There are approximately 5000 staff which when you add patients and visitors takes the total to over 7000. In addition to the Beat Manager there are also on site security staff who provide 24 hour cover as well as car parking staff. There is extensive CCTV coverage both inside and outside of the hospital. The Multi Storey Car Park has now been demolished with little disruption to users of the QMC. The site is still to be tidied up and landscaped, which is currently underway.
