- About This Team
- The Lenton Triangle boundary runs from Canning Circus Police Station down Derby Road encompassing all the residential properties on the right hand side until you reach Faraday Road, along Faraday Road as far as Ilkeston Road, back up Ilkeston Road again encompassing all the local shops, businesses and residential properties on your right hand side until you reach Canning Circus. There are two nurseries, one junior school, five churches and one mosque. The area has a high proportion of rented accommodation and an extremely large student population . There is a substantial Asian community living and working in the area, this includes multicultural shops, Asian food premises, clothing and jewellery stores. There is believed to be 30,000 students who come to Nottingham to study every year and approximately half of these stay in 'the Triangle'.
