- About This Team
- The Leen neighbourhood consists of an area of North Radford in the City of Nottingham bordered by Alfreton Road, Ilkeston Road, and Radford Boulevard. The most northern boundary is the Railway line that runs across Ilkeston Road and separates the Leen area of the Canning Circus neighbourhood policing area from the Radford Road neighbourhood policing area. From official statistics the population consists of approximately 5000 residents of various ethnic diverse origin. Housing consists of a mixture of private, social , Nottingham City Homes and student accommodation. There are three large purpose built student accommodation blocks on the area, a retail park, two public houses , three main places of worship including a Mosque, one primary school and one Islamic school, a private nursery and various private businesses.
