- About This Team
- The Strelley Beat area is situated to the north west of the City Centre and is within the City boundary. It is part of the Bilborough Ward, and is bordered by Strelley Road on the south side, and Helston Drive on the east, but also incorporating Bramley Road and Bridge Green. The Moorgreen estate is the north east corner of the beat area, with the border falling short of the Broxtowe parkland. To the north the area includes all the streets leading off of Cranwell Road, as well as Lancaster Way and York Drive. The border of the area then extends westward to incorporate the Nottingham Business Park, where the Nottm DVLA building is located. The first few houses of Strelley Village are included in the beat, but most of the village is not. The beat incorporates two warden-aided complexes for the elderly at Seagrave Court and Jubilee Court. Also on the area, there are two places of worship, the Kingdom Hall on Flamsteed Road and Christian Family Centre on Strelley Road, one school, Seagrave Primary School and two licensed premises, The Rose Public House and the Strelley Social Club.
