- About This Team
- The area of Balloon Woods is situated to the West of the City Centre of Nottingham, within the City Boundary . The Beat is split into two areas. The first area being the two housing estates which are located at the top of Wollaton Vale on the left as you approach the junction of the A609 and A6002. The second area of the beat is located to the left and right sides of the top end of Trowell Road again near to the junction of the A609 and A6002. The side on the left is called the Firbeck Estate, and the one on the right covers part of Bilborough. Within the Beat area there are two Primary Schools these being Firbeck Primary & Nursery and Portland Primary. There is also the Wollaton Play Centre on Coventry Lane. The main shopping area for the Beat is on Cockington Road Bilborough. The three agreed Priorities for the Neighbourhood Policing Area are:
