- About This Team
- Portland West is the area bordered by St Peters Way, the A38 Sutton Road, the A617 MARR Road and Nottingham Road. Oakham Business Park is situated on the southern boundary of the MARR Road and consists mainly of industrial units. Adjacent to the A38 Sutton Road is the Mansfield Community Hospital and Moor Lane primary and nursery schools. Portland Retail Park includes a variety of stores including electrical and furniture stores, fast food outlet and the Mansfield Town Mill Football Ground. Another retail park is situated off Park Lane includes Sainsbury's store, Odeon cinema, Walkers bingo and more fast food outlets. At the northern end of the ward is the Water Meadows swimming complex and Acorn Business Park consisting mainly of government and office buildings. West Titchfield mainly covers the area of Moor Lane, Victoria Street, Princess Street, Lord Street and Bishop Street.
