- About This Team
- The Lindhurst ward has a distinctive divide within itself namely Bellamy Road Estate and Rainworth, the majority of the latter being part of Bassetlaw Division. In between the two is a vast vehicle retail park, office and industrial area, which employs a large number of residents from within the ward area. BELLAMY ROAD ESTATE This estate is situated on the southern edge of Mansfield, the estate covers from Bellamy Road near to the Barr factory towards Girton and Gunthorpe Courts.The estate comprises of flats as well as houses some being council and other being privately owned.The road layout is designed to work in alphabetical order. Mansfield South Community Centre is situated on the St Peters school site this provides a whole range of activities for the local community. St Peters Primary School caters for children from 5yrs to 11yrs. RAINWORTH Rainworth is covered by A and B divisions. A division cover from Blidworth Lane to Lake Farm Road.Predominately the area is made up of owner-occupier and council properties. There is a selection of private and commercial businesses including shops,pubs,and garages. The local community centre is situated on Southwell Road East which is used for various community events. The Lake situated of Lake Farm Road is used by the local fishing club.
