- About This Team
- Housing is mainly owner occupied with unemployment in the town very low. There is, however, no major employer in the town which means that roads in the area are very busy, serving commuter needs. There is a main line railway station at the border with Backwell, used largely by commuters. A small amount of local authority housing exists within Nailsea . This is established and occupied mainly by older families. At the West End of Nailsea there is a local authority housing complex known as Crown House which comprises mainly single person accommodation. Problems are frequently encountered at this location linked to drug and alcohol abuse.
