Purleigh is part of the Maldon district, however Purleigh NPT covers areas including Purleigh, Hazeleigh, Cold Norton, Althorne, Latchingdon, Langford, North Fambridge, Stow Maries, Mayland, Ulting, Little Braxted, Wickham Bishops, Woodham Mortimer and Woodham Walter.
