This report updates Members on the current position of the Capital Programme and seeks spending and resource approval as required to enable officers to proceed with the delivery of those schemes as set out in section 8 of this report.

 

This report presents an overview monitoring statement of the Council’s Revenue Budget.

This report seeks to transfer and appropriate for planning purposes three remaining parcels of land comprised within the proposed Principal Place Development site which is a key landmark location on entry to the Borough from the City.

This report recommends the disposal of a property which is surplus to Council  requirements. There is no adjoining Council ownership and it is not essential to any regeneration projects or programme. It is intended that the capital receipt generated by the disposal of this property is re-invested in the Council’s capital programmes.

 

This report identifies and considers parking issues that need to be addressed in the wards affected.

The report also outlines the consideration that will be given to the possible introduction of additional Controlled Parking Zones in order to protect parking for local residents, local businesses and other local organisations in the area.

Members are asked to approve the content of the executive response to the Health in Hackney Commission Scrutiny Review into Improving Models of Joint and Integrated Commissioning.

THAT the press and public be excluded from the proceedings of the Cabinet on the 24 October 2011 during consideration of exempt items on the agenda on the grounds that it is likely, in view of the nature of the business to be transacted, that were members of the public to be present, there would be disclosure of exempt information as defined in Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972 as amended.
