interviewed three candidates for the post of Project <span class="GramE">Manager<span> </span>
for</span> the Building Schools for the Future Programme.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The Committee also considered a report by the
Council’s Recruitment Consultants, <span class="SpellE">Gatenby</span> Sanderson, which provided an appraisal and
technical assessment of each candidate, together with a copy of
their application for the post and Rachel <span class="SpellE">Hannan</span>, Lead Partner - North from <span class="SpellE">Gatenby</span> Sanderson, reported on the feedback from
the candidates’ sessions with the Stakeholder Groups on 11
March 2010.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">RESOLVED:<span> </span> That</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">(1)<span> </span> Michael
Horne, Programme Manager (BSF and Capital Development Team),
Liverpool City Council be appointed to the post of Project Manager
for the Building Schools for the Future Programme at a commencing
salary of <span>£60,918 per
annum (Hay Senior Management 5, point iv)</span> and</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">(2)<span> </span>
<span class="GramE">the</span> offer of appointment be subject to
the Personnel Director notifying the Cabinet of the recommendation
in (1) above and ascertaining whether any Cabinet Member has a
material or well-founded objection to the appointment.</p>
