The Committee\ninterviewed three candidates for the post of Project Manager \nfor the Building Schools for the Future Programme.
\n\n
The Committee also considered a report by the\nCouncil’s Recruitment Consultants, Gatenby Sanderson, which provided an appraisal and\ntechnical assessment of each candidate, together with a copy of\ntheir application for the post and Rachel Hannan, Lead Partner - North from Gatenby Sanderson, reported on the feedback from\nthe candidates’ sessions with the Stakeholder Groups on 11\nMarch 2010.

RESOLVED: That
\n\n
(1) Michael\nHorne, Programme Manager (BSF and Capital Development Team),\nLiverpool City Council be appointed to the post of Project Manager\nfor the Building Schools for the Future Programme at a commencing\nsalary of £60,918 per\nannum (Hay Senior Management 5, point iv) and
\n\n
(2) \nthe offer of appointment be subject to\nthe Personnel Director notifying the Cabinet of the recommendation\nin (1) above and ascertaining whether any Cabinet Member has a\nmaterial or well-founded objection to the appointment.
