That the Minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 12 November 2009 be confirmed as a correct record.

Exclusion of Press and Public

To consider passing the following resolution:

 

That, under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act, 1972, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following item(s) of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act.  The Public Interest Test has been applied and favours exclusion of the information from the Press and Public.

Appointment of Strategic Director - Communities

The report of the Personnel Director and the expressions of interest received for the post of Strategic Director – Communities will be circulated at the meeting.

 

The Committee will be requested to determine the short list of candidates to be interviewed for the post of Strategic Director – Communities on 10 December 2009 in Bootle Town Hall.

Minutes:

Further to Minute No. 24 of the meeting held on 12 November 2009, the Committee considered the expressions of interest for the post of Strategic Director - Communities which had been submitted by Service Directors in the Regeneration and Environmental Services Directorate.

 

RESOLVED:  

 

That the four applicants be short-listed for the post of Strategic Director - Communities and invited for interview on 10 December 2009.
