<p class="MsoNormal">The Committee had been convened to consider a
disciplinary appeal, brought by PG, Children and Young
People’s Services Department.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The Principal Human Resources Officer and

Senior Assistant Director for Children and Families</span> and
PG’s Trade Union representative appeared before the
Committee.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Both parties presented their cases, documents
were tabled and a witness was called. Following presentation of the
cases by both sides, the parties withdrew whilst the Committee
considered the matter.</p>

Resolved to dismiss the appeal and uphold the dismissal for the
reasons outlined in the dismissing officer's decision letter dated
