Disciplinary Appeal - PG - Children and Young People's Services Department
\n\nMinutes:
\nThe Committee had been convened to consider a\ndisciplinary appeal, brought by PG, Children and Young\nPeople’s Services Department.
\n\n
The Principal Human Resources Officer and\n\nSenior Assistant Director for Children and Families and\nPG’s Trade Union representative appeared before the\nCommittee.
\n\n
Both parties presented their cases, documents\nwere tabled and a witness was called. Following presentation of the\ncases by both sides, the parties withdrew whilst the Committee\nconsidered the matter.
\n\n
* \n\nResolved to dismiss the appeal and uphold the dismissal for the\nreasons outlined in the dismissing officer's decision letter dated\n20 July 2009.
\n\n
Both parties were recalled to the meeting and\ninformed of the Committee’s decision.
