All people usually resident in the area at the time of the 2001 Census, who provide unpaid care for 20 to 49 hours a week.Provision of unpaid care includes looking after, giving help or support to family members, friends, neighbours or others, because of long-term physical or mental ill-health or disability or problems relating to old age.When this variable is viewed as a percentage, it is the percentage of people providing unpaid care for 20 to 49 hours a week, of 'All people who provide unpaid care' - rather than 'All people'.
